A LUDLOW van driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught out on the roads while over the limit.
Daniel Preece entered a guilty plea to two counts of driving while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in April.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 43-year-old had been caught out on the A49 at Dorrington in Shropshire after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Vivaro van on September 26.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had 78 microgrammes of class A controlled drug cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine and four microgrammes of controlled class B drug cannabis product delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood.
The respective legal limits are 50 and two microgrammes.
Preece, of Ludford View, Ludlow, was fined £333 and disqualified from driving for 15 months, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when deciding on the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £133 victim surcharge.
