Brown Clee Young Farmers have been on the pull, celebrating tug of war success at the Shropshire Young Farmers pre-rally field day in April.
Both the junior and men’s team made it through to the next regional round.
Club Secretary, Rachel Rose said that tug of war is one of the clubs’ favourite competitions, combining members physical and mental strength.
“The field day was a brilliant success for us with our junior and men’s tug of war teams both taking first place,” she said.

“The pre-rally field day is always a great day in the young farmers' calendar, and to come away with such a good result is fantastic.”
The club will now go on to compete in the West Midlands round held at Hanbury Show in July.
As the club continues its training, Rachel says their success wouldn’t have been achieved without their coaches Chris Barker and Simon Link.
"They have both kindly given up time to train us over the past few weeks. Without their help we wouldn’t have had such a successful day.”
