CHLOE SCHROEDER has started the new season in top form with six goals in Ludlow Town Women’s opening two games.
After the summer break Ludlow got their 2026/27 campaign underway with an impressive 8-3 victory at home to Sporting Club Inkberrow Ladies.
Schroeder scored an impressive four goals, while Lisa Preece netted a brace and there was also goals from Hannah Edwards and Grace Phillips.
Ludlow’s explosive start to the match saw the home side race into a 5-1 lead by the half-time break.
Ludlow faced a tougher test this weekend with a trip to face Worcester City FC Lionesses.
Schroeder again led the scoring with a brace of goals, while Edwards added another to her tally and Isabelle Andrews scored the other.
Ludlow have had their scheduled home game against Hereford Pegasus FC Ladies postponed next week, so will next be in action at home to Kingfisher FC Women on October 4.
Meanwhile, Ludlow Town Reserves have had a tough start to their season, with eight consecutive defeats.
The Reserves were beaten 10-1 on Friday night by Worcester United FC, with Kolawole Adegoke netting five times for the hosts.
