LUDLOW ran in four tries at Stafford to give themselves a chance of finishing third in Midlands 2 West North.
Playing strongly with a competitive pack, the visitors scored two tries in the first half through Russell Jones and Matthew Ferguson with Will Norton adding a penalty and one conversion to lead 15-0 at half time.
Reduced to 13 men for incurring yellow cards, Ludlow were able to withstand a period of pressure before right-wing Jack Smith scored two more tries. There was a late consolation try for Stafford.
