LUDLOW RFC head coach Mikey Jones believes his side still has room to improve despite being delighted with their fine fourth-placed finish in Midlands One West.
Even a disappointing 57-14 final-day defeat at Stratford-upon-Avon – Tom Holloway and Jack Lines scoring Ludlow’s tries – could not dent Jones’ joy at the campaign overall.
“The boys have been superb,” said Jones. “The players have responded to what has been put in front of them and the different challenges we have posed them.
“They have shown the levels they can get to and they still have more to go – this is a very young side.”
