ROSS Golf Club's Steve Wallbank, a four-handicap player, clinched the Herefordshire County Seniors Championships.
The par 73 course provided a tough test where straying from the fairways meant an encounter with water or trees.
Wallbank was able to successfully defend the title he won in 2019 when it was last played and to return home as leader of the Team prize as he was ably supported in the Ross team with great knocks from Dave Webb and Dave Griffiths.
