CLEE Hill United boss Wayne Whitbread has warned his side they must not switch off in their pursuit of back-to-back Herefordshire Premier Division titles.

United reclaimed top spot on Saturday as they put a shaky first half behind them to win 4-1 at Hinton despite the absence of top scorer Josh Carpenter.

Craig Breakwell bagged a hat-trick and Liam Whitbread hit a 20-yard free-kick as United capitalised on Malvern Town Reserves losing at Ewyas Harold to go back top.

United have a vastly superior goal difference plus a game in hand on Malvern but host fourth-placed Kington this Saturday.

Whitbread said: “We seemed to take our foot off the gas and coasted at 1-0 up at Hinton and they got themselves level.

“In the second half we were much more like ourselves and they struggled to live with us but this is a very competitive league and if you are a little bit off you can lose to anyone."
