COLIN Spanner shot a fantastic net 65 to finish three shots clear of runner-up Rob Smith and secure the October Medal Division One title at Ludlow Golf Club.
Alan Reid continued his recent good form to win Division Two with a net 66, beating runner-up Simon Herdsfield on countback.
Division Three was won by Sean Taylor, also scoring an impressive 66 net, with Aubrey Groom five shots back in second place.
The Lady Past Captains’ Rose Bowl competition was reduced to six holes due to heavy rain with Val Jackson emerging the winner via countback.
Margaret Leake and Rose Cox won the Autumn Foursomes Cup, with Katy Rose and Lin Thompson in second, and Barbara Butler and Kim Simm third.
Matthew Mills, John Newsome, Cliff Kimber and Peter Clements teamed up to win the latest seniors’ fun competition.
Their impressive Am-Am score of 89 was ten clear of runners-up Alan Hossbach, Tony Watton, Jim Peters and John Adams.
