JOHN Adams returned the best score of 40 points in September’s Stableford competition at Ludlow Golf Club.
That enabled him to top the Division Three standings ahead of Sean Taylor, in second with 36 points.
Topping Division One was Peter Monk, with his fine score of 38 points, leading a three-way tie for second between Andrew MacWhirter, Dave Fish and Nick Apperley, all on 35.
Alan Udall’s 37 points gave him victory in Division Two, one ahead of Richard Cox in second.
The seniors played their “Team Wrinklies” age-related competition which was won by Dave Dyke, Doug Briscoe and John Walker, five shots clear of Adams, John Phillips and Eddie Rowland.
The winners of the Ladies’ 3-ball Alliance, meanwhile, were Lin Thompson, Kim Simm and Margaret Harris with 73 points.
The Jenny Kelly Cup, awarded to the player with the best total of Stableford points from spring and autumn individual meetings, went to Lady Captain Thompson with 68 points.
