LUDLOW Colts continued their impressive unbeaten run with a 4-0 victory over local rivals Orleton on Tuesday night.

Orleton were on the back foot almost from the off and went behind through an own goal in the first minute after good work by Dan Griffiths.

Nine minutes later and a great shot by Jack Marston was judged to have not crossed the goal-line before being scrapped away.

Sami Watkins eventually made it 2-0 before the break after Kieran Dovey crossed for John Brick to dummy and Watkins found the back of the net.

Orleton came out second half and put up a decent fight but the Ludlow defence was solid and they never looked like conceding a goal.

Ludlow’s third goal came after 75 minutes with great link up play between Marston and Jack Gittoes with the latter finding the back of the net.

Marston himself then got on the score sheet after being put through on goal from a Dan Spear pass to seal the 4-0 victory.

Orleton then found themselves down to 10 men after the goalkeeper took down Gittoes resulting in a yellow card and then another for dissent.

Meanwhile Tenbury United confirmed their place outside the top two following a frantic 5-4 victory over relegation rivals Kington Town.
