LUDLOW RFC ran in 16 tries and racked up a century of points as they rounded off their Midlands Two West North title-winning season in style by thrashing Telford Hornets.

The visitors, already relegated and well adrift at the bottom of the league after winning just one game all season, were brushed aside 104-5 by an imperious Ludlow outfit.

Champions Ludlow finished on 95 points, 11 clear of second-placed Tamworth, having scored 880 points in 22 games - an average of exactly 40 points per game.

The biggest crowd of the season watched Ludlow captain Matt Davies lead his side to a resounding victory.

There were braces for Tom Amphlett, Will Sparrow, Joe Doyle and Jack Davies while Charlie Doyle, Ben Black, Will Norton, Jack Lines, Matt Davies, Keiron Pinches, Rhys Perkins and Jim Alderson also crossed the line for Ludlow.

Ludlow seconds lost 44-5 to Reserve League leaders Evesham. Danny Bradley was their man of the match.
