SHAWBURY United face a must-win trip to basement side Pegasus Juniors this weekend after a mixed week of results against two other West Midlands Premier Division relegation rivals.

United claimed a vital 2-0 win at Dudley Sports last Tuesday thanks to goals from Luke Williams and Tom Horton but followed that up with a shocker on Saturday.

They lost 7-1 at home to Pershore Town, who leapfrogged them with the win, leaving Shawbury just one place and one point above the bottom three.

The team directly below them, Shifnal Town, have three games in hand plus a far superior goal difference, leaving Shawbury desperate for a win at Pegasus on Saturday.
