CHURCH Stretton will finish their season top of West Midlands Division Two with victory this weekend – but must wait three weeks to find out their title destiny.
Stretton went back top with a 3-0 win at Rock Rovers thanks to a Dean Richards double – including a 30-yard free-kick – and a Dan Griffiths strike.
They wrap up their campaign at home to Wolverhampton United on a Saturday but title rivals FC Darlaston and Gornal still have two and three games left respectively.
Boss Scott Peever admitted: “We have to win to set the other teams a target, we have to make it as a difficult as possible.”
