ORLETON kept their hopes of a top-three Herefordshire League Division One finish alive with a 7-1 demolition of bottom side Ewyas Harold Reserves.
Chris Breakwell and Brandon Himsley both scored twice, while Jake Conod, Owen Pritchard and Sam Thomas also found the net.
Orleton remain fifth despite the win but are just three points behind third-placed Wellington Colts with a game in hand.
Boss Mark Hollis said: “We just want to finish as high as we can. The season has gone well. There have been a couple of games that we should have won but didn’t – but that’s football.”
Orleton Reserves, meanwhile, were held to a 2-2 draw in Herefordshire League Division Two by a Withington side who climbed off the bottom of the table by virtue of the point.
Corey Whitticase put Orleton ahead but Withington turned things around to lead 2-1 before Paul Brogan’s equaliser. Orleton could have won it but Will Caswell saw a penalty saved.
Disappointed boss Dane Pearce said: “If we had taken our chances in the first half, the game would have been done by half-time.”
