ORLETON were missing top scorer Chris Breakwell in their Herefordshire League Division One clash at home to Bartestree Reserves but still claimed a creditable 2-2 draw.

The fourth-placed hosts led inside five minutes as Kyle Whitticase headed home an Orleton corner and they maintained that advantage into half-time.

Two quickfire Bartestree goals early in the second half turned the game on its head but, with 20 minutes to go, Orleton’s Jake Conod fired home from outside the box to ensure the points were shared.

There was a fine 3-2 victory for Orleton Reserves in Division Two as goals from Paul Brogan, Chris Brooks and James Davies downed hosts Belmont Rangers.

In the Herefordshire Premier, meanwhile, Tenbury Town and Tenbury United both saw their respective fixtures called off.

Town rearranged their clash with high-flying Clee Hill United due to availability issues, while United’s home game against Westfields Reserves fell victim to a waterlogged pitch.
