A BRACE from Sarah Bishop gave Lads Club local bragging rights when they overcame near neighbours Hereford on the weekend.
The two sides play in the Midwest Counties Female Football League where only one point separates the two teams.
But Sunday's clash saw the two go face to face in a new Herefordshire Women's County Cup competition.
The HFA introduced the event as there are now eight women's sides entered and the weekend quarter final was as competitive as the league table suggests.
Mel Mayo eased Lads Club nerves when she gave her side the lead in the eighth minute.
Emily Morgan doubled the lead two minutes later before Sarah Bishop put Lads Club three-nil up before the break.
Hereford fought back after the interval but found Lads Club keeper Jade Hodges in inspired form and Bishop added a second to put the result beyond doubt.
The Bulls did score a late consolation to see the match at Old School Lane end 4-1.
