A GIRLS football team who are the only ones in their league without a team kit are looking for a sponsor to help them.

Belmont Wanderers under-eights team play in the Herefordshire Girls League.

While all the other teams have an identifiable kit Belmont are without the funds to purchase their own with the girls instead wearing plain t-shirts.

“We have been going a while but we haven’t got a kit,” said manager Lee Joshua.

“We are currently the only team in the league who don’t have an official kit which is very hard for the girls because everyone else has their own identity as a team.

“They all train so hard and me and the other coach Paige Parry have tried everywhere to get a sponsor but unfortunately have been unsuccessful every time so far.

“The parents have instead brought a simply shirt to play in.”
