THERE will be plenty of local interest throughout a busy day of racing at Ludlow today.
Local trainer Henry Daly will have six entries in four of the day’s six races, starting with Royale Jonquille in the Buy Your IJF Xmas Gifts Today-sponsored mares’ ‘national hunt’ maiden hurdle at 1.20pm.
The Downtown Hall Stables-based trainer has two entries in the Racing UK HD Introductory Hurdle, at 2.25pm, with Stoney Mountain and Rapper running at 2.25pm.
And Daly will double up again in the Racing UK Handicap Chase at 2.55pm, where he will field Goohar and The Artful Cobbler, before his final entry – Pique Rock – sets off in the day’s final race, the Amateur Jockey’s Association Amateur Riders’ Handicap Hurdle at 3.50pm.
