ORLETON forward Owen Pritchard is set to switch to the other end of the pitch for the next three games after goalkeeper Liam Hill had his marching orders in Saturday’s 3-1 home defeat to Belmont Wanderers.
Hill reacted to what he felt was a late challenge in the second half and saw red, so Pritchard is due to take his place during an expected three-match ban, which starts at Hereford City on Saturday.
With the first-team losing in Division One of the Herefordshire FA County League, there was disappointment too for the club’s reserves, beaten 5-1 away to a Civil Service side who are in the hunt for promotion from Division Two.
Orleton’s second string will have a chance to get back on track at Malvern Vale on Saturday, and know a victory would see them leapfrog their hosts and possible climb two places, depending on how Pegasus Reserves get on at Marden.
