A FIRST half double from Andy Richards helped Ludlow to a 4-2 victory at home to Aldridge and Walsall in West Midlands Division One.

He struck the opener after just four minutes with a cleverly disguised shot only for the visitors to level on 15 minutes when the ball was worked along Ludlow's back line and fired in from close range.

The home team took their time to regain their rhythm but when they did, a fast flowing move down the right saw the ball fired across the 'D' only to be met by Richards who slid in to score his second.

The second half started much the same as the first had finished with the home team in dominant form but it took them 20 minutes to score a third when Jake Watts dribbled in and sent a reverse stick strike across the keeper to nestle inside the back post.

Aldridge hit back only for Gavin Hughes to score Ludlow’s fourth to wrap up the points.

[BLOB]Tenbury Ladies were beaten 8-2 by a strong and organised Worcester 2nds side. Low on numbers, Tenbury made a good start opening up a 2-0 lead only for the home side to hit back to level.

With no replacements to bring on, Tenbury tired after the break allowing Worcester to take command.
