A KEY spell before half-time saw Ludlow maintain their perfect start to the season with a 41-7 win over Camp Hill.
For half-an-hour the match could have gone either way but 12 points before half time helped Ludlow record a fourth bonus-point win in four games to move two points clear at the summit.
Uncharacteristic knock-ons spoiled some of Ludlow's early attacking play but Will Sparrow got their first try in the corner.
The key score came on the stroke of half-time as a mis-move in the backs saw Sparrow sail through unopposed for a try which he converted.
Sparrow turned provider for Joe Doyle for the next try while Will Hodnett’s dummy allowed Kieron Price to notch the bonus-point try.
Sparrow scored two more in quick succession, the first a long run from halfway, and Dan Ruell collected a Hodnett pass to round off the scoring.
Ludlow seconds were unlucky to lose 33-31 at home to Hereford as Dan Rawlings ran in four tries and Matt Wilkes also scored.
