TROTTING racing will make a welcome return to Bitterley on Saturday (July 14) with a card of over a dozen races for the afternoon.
The busy action will include a Saddle race, and a Free For All, where the best horses of the WBA circuits start on level terms behind the starting gate.
The energetic secretary of the meeting is Melanie Langford, who was the Leading WBC Driver of 2017.
Based at Onibury, Melanie races at every meeting in the region, and feels that she is giving something back to the sport that she loves with her efforts. She is particularly looking forward to the Saddle Race.
Entrance to the course (SY8 3HE) is off the main A4117 Ludlow to Kidderminster road. Admission is £8 per person to include racecard, children under 16 and car parking free.
