THERE will be no Midlands Intermediate Cup run for Cleobury Mortimer this season after they were beaten 15-12 at Silhillians.
Harry Parker dotted down in the first half with Tom Leach adding a second after the break which Josh Winfield converted but it wasn’t enough to deny the Solihull side a place in the next round.
The opening round of the Midlands Junior Vase saw Church Stretton given a walkover at home to Stourport while Market Drayton were handed a walkover at the expense of Bishop's Castle.
It is back to league action on Saturday with Cleobury at home to Crewe & Nantwich in Midlands Two West (North) while in Mids Four West (North) Stretton head to Yardley and Clee Hill go to Wednesbury. Tenbury are at home to Burbage in Mids Four West (South).
