CLEE Hill United ended their three-match losing streak in exhilarating fashion by edging an 11-goal thriller against Gobowen Celtic.
Steve Preece, Oliver Smith, Adam Warren (2) and Liam Whitbread (2) found the net as United climbed to seventh in the Mercian League Premier Division courtesy of a 6-5 success at the Knowle Sports Ground.
Doubles from Rich Morris and Joe Pierpoint as well as a goal by Rich Hardy proved in vain for the visitors.
Next up for Clee Hill is another home fixture against second-bottom FC Hodnet on Saturday (3pm).
