LUDLOW Town Juniors took home four cups from a memorable finals day at Orleton.
The Under-8s South, who were recently presented with a new football kit courtesy of Adam Pearce, director of Monkey Mania, the new indoor play centre on Ludlow Business Park, beat their Under-8 North counterparts 3-1.
Goals came from Nikolas Jusko (2) and a penalty from Louis Griffiths, with the North's reply coming from Charlie Woodfield.
The Under-9s beat Presteigne Colts 5-1 with a Harvey Smith hat-trick, one from Justin Andrews and an own goal while the Under-11s defeated Knighton Town 3-0 thanks to goals from James Pugsley (2) and Jason Davies.
The Ludlow Bulldogs were victorious over Orleton Under-13s, a 4-2 victory in extra time down to Levi Taylor (2) and Charlie Holliehead (2). Taylor scored the winner from the penalty spot.
The victories for the Under-11s and Under-13s completed league and cup doubles for both teams.
Ludlow Town Juniors will host their own tournament on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
They will run Under-8, Under-10 and Under-12 events on the Saturday and Under-9, Under-11 and Under-13 tournaments on the Sunday.
The club will also be holding a signing-on session for Under-13s, Under 14s and Under-16s/17s onWednesday.
