LUDLOW Golf Club's annual drive-in was an historical occasion - in more ways than one.
Edna Spanner has become the first female club president, while club captains Andy Dixon and Jacki Corbett also drove in.
From 2014, its 125th anniversary year, the club will now be run by two club captains.
The new junior captain, 15-year-old Mark Bull, who is a pupil of Ludlow School, also drove in.
Despite rain and strong winds, a large crowd of members and friends braved the elements to watch the captains in action.
The bad weather forced the cancellation of the prestigious Massachusetts Cup competition.
