FOUR people have been arrested after an incident with a firearm in Hereford.
West Mercia Police was called at 9.10pm to reports of the group in possession of the weapon in Whitecross Road on Tuesday (March 10), before the suspects made their getaway.
A spokesperson said the individuals left in a vehicle which was later stopped by police in Kington.
"Three men from Kington have been arrested a 27, 20 and 19-year-old, and a 17-year-old girl also from Kington were arrested on suspicion of possessing firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence," they added.
"This is an isolated incident and the weapon was found to be an air weapon not a firearm."
There had been confusion over the incident as police initially indicated that the incident took place in Worcester but have since clarified details
