FORTY years ago workers from the Wiggin Alloys factory in Hereford took to the stage for the annual pantomime.
It turned out to be one of the final shows staged by the group as it disbanded shortly after due to facilities the factory “becoming unavailable”.
The Hereford Amateur Pantomime Society (HAPS) was set up in its place in 1982 by the remaining members.
The group are still putting on shows and, as usual, will be entertaining audiences at the Courtyard in Hereford during half term nexy week.
The group’s pantomime this year is Aladdin, and they will be raising money for charity.
