SIR – Worcester County council has ear marked £60,000 (Friday, February 7) to employ two new enforcement officers to police town centre, for mostly young teenagers riding recklessly through pedestrianised areas of town centre and also frequently up the bus lanes the opposite way doing wheelies.
Who is going to stop these teenagers because the the teenagers know nothing will be done to them because they are under age.
I have seen them wheelying in bus lanes and police patrol cars driving passed them.
Begging in the town centre again what are these enforcement officers going to do issue them with a fine which is never going to be paid because they are looking for money to survive.
Gulls, I agree, are a pest but what you must face is all these fast food outlets in city centre, with all the will in the world are trying to save the planet by coming up with eco-viable containers to serve food and for easy disposable to the clientele who frequently use them, you are never going to stop them.
