POLICE in Alcester are warning drivers so slow down.
Officers have been doing speed checks in both Great Alne and the Wooton Wawen areas.
The move is part of a national speed enforcement campaign.
The campaign, from January 20 to February 2, is being run across the UK and coordinated by NPCC, the National Police Chiefs’ Council, to improve road safety and law enforcement.
Posting on Facebook police said: "Did you know speed is one of the main factors in fatal road traffic accidents?
"The speed limit set is the absolute maximum - it doesn't mean its safe to drive at that speed in all conditions."
