Following a sell out concert last weekend, the Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra is inviting string players, from Grade 5 to diploma standard, to join them for a Come and Play Evening.
This will take place on Wednesday January 15 at St George's Church, St George’s Square, Barbourne, in Worcester.
Suitably trained musicians with violins, violas, cellos and double basses will all be welcome.
A spokesman said: "New conductor, Joe Davies will rehearse Mozart's Don Giovanni Overture with excerpts from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 (Pastoral).
"Come and experience Joe’s dynamic approach to rehearsals, with his emphasis on excellence, friendship and fun. "
The evening begins at 7:30pm, with refreshments being served in an extended break to allow players to meet members of the orchestra.
The spokesman said: "You can be sure of a warm welcome!"
