A “DANGEROUS” killer has appeared in a video calling himself the “nonce killer” and boasting about burning a paedophile in his home.

Danny Martin who killed a man by setting fire to his Worcester flat, was jailed for two knifepoint robberies just months after he was released from prison.

The 30-year-old from Worcester appears in the video illegally filmed at a Category A HMP Woodhill recently, and that has been uploaded to youtube.

In it Martin says to the camera: "I burned him in his house."

Martin then confirms his name, saying: "Danny Martin, aka 'Nonce Killer'."

Martin was jailed for 10 years for manslaughter after he set fire to a bin which spread to the flat of convicted sex offender Andrew Heath. Mr Heath died in his flat in Chedworth Close, Warndon, in December 2011.

Just months after he was released from prison, he took part in two robberies that took place just two days apart in October 2017.

During the sentencing in February last year judge Nicholas Cartwright heard that Martin had 77 previous offences including manslaughter, dishonesty offences, burglary and affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm while in custody.

Sentencing him to seven and a half years with an extended licence period of five years (a 12 and a half year sentence), the judge said: "I find you are dangerous.

"I have come to the firm conclusion that a commensurate sentence would not protect the public for a sufficient length of time from the risk that you pose and will continue to pose in the future."
