A MOPED rider was taken to hospital after being involved in a crash on the A38.
The crash took place at the junction of Droitwich Road and Hindlip Lane at around 4pm yesterday, and the road was closed by police while two patients were treated by paramedics.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of an RTC involving a car and moped.

"We sent two ambulances. On arrival we assessed two patients.
"We treated a man, who was the moped rider, for injuries not thought to be serious before taking him to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
"We also assessed a baby who was in the car, they were discharged at the scene.”
There were major delays on the road for a while, before it reopened at around 6pm.
Also on January 2 there was a crash between a car and a pedestrian on Droitwich Road, Fernhill Heath, at 7.38am.
Police have asked anyone with information to call 101 quoting 0078S.
