ARTIST Rohan Goonewardena has a fondness for traditional views, albeit with a modern take on them, using bold and vivid colours.
He also loves Evesham, and his exhibition called, suitably enough, ‘Evesham….this must be the place’ opened this week at the Victoria Avenue Arts Centre.
Rohan said: “It consists of paintings of Evesham and the surrounding area taken from photos I have snapped throughout the sixteen years I have lived here.
“From the River Avon and the Bell Tower to Broadway and Snowshill, we have some stunning views in and around Evesham.”
Rohan added: “I mainly paint in acrylics from my studio that is located a stones-throw from the Evesham Art Centre.
“My show will run until the end of February 2020 at the Victoria Avenue Arts Centre so please stop by and take a look.”
