A 41-year-old man has denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm and burglary.
Hubert Locke, of no fixed address, appeared over videolink at Worcester Crown Court on Monday.
Locke, who has connections to Droitwich and Worcester, denied the ABH said to have taken place between October 5 and October 8 this year and a burglary at an address in Wych Road, Droitwich on October 10 this year during which he is alleged to have stolen cash.
There will be two separate trials, one for each offence. Both trials were placed in a warned list which means and will be heard as soon as possible after March 2 next year.
Locke was remanded in custody on both matters.
