THERE was a fabulous turn-out for the switch-on of Leominster's Christmas lights earlier.
Crowds packed the Corn Square and defied the cold to create a wonderfully festive atmosphere.
Fairground rides began in the town at noon, and there was live entertainment from 2pm until the switch-on at 5pm.
There was a lights service at the Priory Church at 4pm.
The town's new Christmas lights scheme was chosen by Year 4 pupils at Leominster Primary School.
