AN investigation is underway after a man was attacked with a knife in Netherton.
A 36-year-old man was injured after being reportedly slashed across the neck following a disagreement with another man.
An ambulance was called to the scene on Halesowen Road at around 9.15pm on Thursday, November 28.
Police said the man's injuries were found to be superficial and a knife recovered at the scene has been sent for forensic analysis.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police said: "Officers were called by the ambulance service just after 9.15pm to reports a 36-year-old had been slashed across the neck following a disagreement with another man.
"The man’s injuries were found to be superficial and he did not require further hospital treatment.
"A knife recovered from the scene has been submitted for forensic analysis. At present no arrests have been made."
Police have called for anyone with information to get in touch by calling 101.
