THIS beautiful steam locomotive is not all it might seem.
Although it looks like a classic from a bygone age, it is actually just over 10 years old.
It still, however, had the power to draw admiring glances from onlookers when it called in to Hereford railway station at the weekend.
Given the name Tornado, it was built from scratch by a dedicated team of volunteers and is based on the Peppercorn class A1 Pacific engine built by British Railways in 1948-49.
The locomotive may be familiar to many. It appeared in the Paddington 2 film and in Top Gear's Race to the North special on TV.
It reached 100mph in secret night-time tests in 2017, making it the first steam locomotive to reach such high speeds since the 1960s.
The locomotive is now used to haul passengers on tours around Britain.
