BEWDLEY pantomime lovers are invited to a show full of laughs and surprises starring an X Factor star.
The locally written panto Bewdley and the Beast - a panto for grown-ups, loosely based on the classic tale, is set to delight audiences this festive season.
It will be staged at The Barn at The Black Boy Inn on Saturday, December 28 to Monday, December 30.
The performers, theatre group Bewdley Town Criers, have enlisted past X-Factor contestant Richard Ryan as Belle.
Belle is kidnapped by the panto villain and heroes Stanley and Baldwin begin their quest to rescue her - with plenty of panto staples along the way.
Richard, who narrowly missed last years Christmas No.1 slot with The Fire Tones, said: "It's such a brilliantly written pantomime from Freddy Just - I can't wait for audiences to see it."
