A LIFESAVING charity campaign is flying high after receiving record donations from a Worcestershire law firm.

In September, Wills & Legal Services raised £31,065 for the County Air Ambulance Trust HELP Appeal from its Charity Will offer, including £16,330 from online wills.

That is on top of £22,415 the specialist paralegal law firm raised in August, making a grand total of £898,833.25 raised to date.

Sarah Watson, director at Malvern-based Wills & Legal Services, said: “We’ve raised almost £900,000 for this lifesaving charity – and we’re getting closer to the magic £1 million mark.

“It’s all thanks to our loyal customers that we’re raising so much money for this fantastic cause, and we’re so grateful for your support. The cash is really helping to save lives.”

The County Air Ambulance Trust has been working hard to help save lives for more than 20 years.

Its HELP Appeal funds lifesaving helipads where helicopters can land directly at hospitals throughout the country. Visit helpappeal.org.uk to see the valuable charity work taking place.

Jason Dennis, from the Trust’s fundraising executive team, said: “Well, what a month – a new record donation! Thank you so much to Wills & Legal Services for all your hard work.

“This is a game-changing sum of money which will help to build more lifesaving hospital helipads.

“We have already funded 36 across the country, which have seen 12,250 landings, but there are another 40 in the pipeline, which is why this funding is absolutely vital.”

More than half of UK adults don’t have a will, but having one written is extremely important – it makes things easier for your loved ones and makes your wishes clear.

The recommended donation is £40 per person but you can donate more or less. If you’re interested in having a Charity Will and helping this worthwhile cause, please call Wills & Legal Services on 01885 490380.
