NATURE lovers are invited to take part in a bat walk at a Pensnett beauty spot to mark Halloween.
The evening walk, organised by volunteers from The Friends of Fens Pool, will give people the chance to explore the reserve and learn more about bats and their lives and behaviour.
Mark Giles, chair of the Friends, said: "The dark nights are closing in, but that shouldn’t stop people from enjoying the nature reserve and all the special things it has to offer, especially bats which are a protected species.
"We do hope that people will join our walk and we especially hope we will spot some bats."
The walk takes place on Wednesday, October 30 and starts at 6.30pm from Fens Pool Community Centre and also includes presentations from the Canals and Rivers Trust and Dudley Council's nature wardens who will guide the walk.
Walkers are advised to wear warm clothes and refreshments will be available.
