A CROOK who phoned a woman 361 times from prison got more jail time for breaching a restraining order.

Worcestershire magistrates sentenced Thomas McClusky to 16 weeks inside and instructed him to pay a £122 victim surcharge.

McClusky, aged 32, of Ombersley Close, Redditch, had originally denied the charge but changed his plea to guilty.

Magistrates told him the offence was aggravated by his record of previous crimes.

Also before Worcestershire Magistrates Court:

Edward Conway, aged 60, of Mason Close, Redditch, was given an eight week jail term suspended for 18 months after he was found guilty of stalking.

Comway has made a high level of phone calls, damaged his victim's car and approached and started at her in a local pub.

The stalking began in September last year and lasted five months.

He was made the subject of a restraining order and ordered to pay £300 compensation, £300 costs and a victim surcharge.

Christopher Jefferies, aged 50, of Pitchcombe Close, Redditch, was ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work.

He pleaded guilty to two charges of assault by beating and was further ordered to pay £135 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

Samuel Woolley, aged 29, of Hawthorn Road, Batchley was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £360 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge.

Woolley had admitted drink driving and driving without insurance.

James Portman, aged 37, of Ombersley Close, Redditch, was fined £50 and ordered to pay a £37 victim surcharge after he pleaded guilty to breeching a community protection notice by begging members of the public for money.

Ashna Powell, aged 23, of Bear Hill, Alvechurch, was given three penalty points, fined £126 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge after he admitted driving without an appropriate licence.

Billy Austin, aged 22, from Studley Road, Redditch, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £135 costs plus a victim surcharge of £32.

Austin had pleaded guilty to driving with excess cannabis in his blood.

Craig Portman, aged 58, of Binton Close, Redditch, was fined a total of £200 and ordered to pay £135 costs and £31 after he pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly while the subject of a conditional discharge for a previous offence.

Mobeen Hussain, aged 50, of Prospect Road South, Redditch, was fined £276, ordered to pay £620 costs, Compensation of £100 and a £32 victim surcharge.

Hussain was found guilty by magistrates after he denied a charge of assault by beating.

Aleksander Andrzejewski, aged 34, from Beoley Road West, Redditch, was banned from driving for six months, fined £880 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for driving without an appropriate licence or insurance.
