A COUNTY law firm has expanded its commercial property team with the double appointment of a new partner and an associate.

Clare Regan has joined the firm, which has branches in Worcester, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove, as a partner and divisional head of the commercial property team.

She brings with her 23 years experience representing some of the biggest names in the industry, and brings her expertise in the purchase, sale and development of retail, office and industrial property portfolios across the UK.

The firm has also brought in associate Lisa Morrison to the team, who has worked in commercial property for 22 years, including having acted for major industry leaders.

Clare said: "I am thrilled to be joining mfg Solicitors and hope to contribute to the firm’s already outstanding reputation for providing sought-after commercial property advice.

"This is a perfect move for me and I am looking forward to contributing to mfg’s success in the months and years ahead.”

Lisa said: “I’m delighted to be using my experience and contacts to help the firm continue to provide and expand its commercial property services.”

Welcoming both lawyers to the firm, mfg Solicitors chairman Maynard Burton added: “Clare and Lisa are a great addition to our highly-regarded commercial property division at a time when we are seeing much growth across Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands.

“Both have top credentials in the industry and have the skills, qualities and energy we need. They are already making a big impact with clients.”

Based in Worcestershire and Shropshire, mfg Solicitors provide a portfolio of commercial, agricultural and private client services.

In May this year, mfg announced they had promoted six specialist lawyers to senior associate positions.

In its Private Client team, highly regarded wills and probate lawyers Amanda Piper, Janna Vigar, Kim Scolari and Rachel Summers were all promoted to senior associate roles.

All four lawyers, who work within mfg’s Worcester, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove offices, work closely with partner and head of division, Valerie Robinson.

Respected agricultural specialist Helen Gough was also promoted into a senior associate role after becoming a key figure in the firm's agricultural division.
