READERS have been asked to name their favourite places in Worcester go for a hair cut.

So far our Readers Recommend series has seen our readers tell us their favourite curry houses, cafés, vegan restaurants and family days out.

This week, we asked you to tell us the best place to go for a fresh trim.

Janet Lippett said: "Serene for boys, girls and gender neutral! Fabulous!"

Jayce Pritchard chose New Touch in Lowesmoor, saying: "Great cuts and shaves and great guys."

Ollie Leach said that Perfect Defect on Trinity Street was "best barbers I’ve been to"

Barbertown in the Tything was chosen by Helen Elizabeth, Martin Kearn, Matt Capewell and Joe Khemikal, among others, while Barbertown in St Johns was chosen by Dave Green, Luke Pitman and Sharon Child.

The two Barbertowns were by far the most popular, with more comments for those than any others.

Sweeney Bob in Lowesmoor was also a favourite, and was recommended by Sara Jayne Clark, who said: "he is amazing and has been cutting my sons hair for four years now and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else, amazing with children and adults - never fails to make us smile."

Emily Charlwood chose Hair by Nathan at Hogan's Bespoke Hairdressing, saying: "I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Fantastic guy with an amazing sense of humour.

"My hair always comes out perfect."

Other favourites included Aramo's, Trimz, A Cut Above and Roger's in St Johns.

Sam Shaw recommended Goodlife Barbershop saying: "Great service and a great team, have been going there every three weeks for over a year and can't rate my barber Charlie enough."
