TRIBUTES have been paid on social media to a father-of-two who was killed when a pick-up truck crashed into a wall in Kidderminster.

The driver, named on social media as 27-year-old Krissy Richards, died at the scene of the tragic crash on the A451 Stourport Road on the night of September 10.

The red Mitsubishi Trojan is believed to have hit a wall and rolled onto its roof.

Dozens of heartfelt messages have been left on Krissy's Facebook page by friends who described him as a "funny and happy character" and a "loving person".

One person said: "RIP Krissy Richards. Absolutely heartbreaking news, you’ll forever be remembered for the funny and happy character you were and you will be loved and missed my many."

Another posted: "Rest in paradise Krissy Richards, this world is so cruel.

"My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends, especially your little girls."

Stourport Football Club held a minute's silence at its game on Sunday, which was broadcast on Facebook.

A fundraising page has also been set up to collect money towards Krissy's funeral and for his two children.
