THE Bank Holiday weekend is finally here and the forecast is looking very good.

Worcester Fake Festival - a leading tribute festival- will take place at Pitchcroft.

Many acts are due to perform, paying homage to The Police, U2, Arctic Monkeys and Bon Jovi.

The all-day event, which takes place today, is in its second year in the city.

The Friends of Fort Royal are hosting a fun family event in the Park. At the event, which takes place on Monday August 26 from 4pm to 7pm, there will be live entertainment from Orchard Band and Drumlove, with the opportunity to join in a live Zumba session too.

Worcester Festival will take place in various locations in the city, has scrapped its firework finale for the first time in seventeen years.

Organisers have said they have decided to spend the money on other things.

The Sunshine Festival will return to Upton-Upon-Severn and the event will play host to music from Boyzlife, 911 and SClub, among others.

Fans of the colour purple will enjoy Pershore Plum Festival. The festival celebrates the humble fruit that has made the town famous.
