Work on the A4103 Hereford-Worcester road has been postponed.

Repairs at Pink House (Moorend Wychend Road to Grove Farm Road, Lower Eggleton, Yarkhill) and near Shucknall Spout (Pomona Lane to the C1148 Shucknall) have been put back until late October.

Herefordshire Council/Balfour Beatty Living Places said they will update drivers on the programme for the remaining works in due course. The change of plan is not weather-related.

The A4103 will be open as usual next week.

Work to replace bearings under Holme Lacy Bridge will not start before Monday, September 23, at earliest, Herefordshire Council/Balfour Beatty Living Places said today.

Most of the work, when it begins, will be done using temporary lights, so there will not be a closure.

The High Street, and parts of The Homend and Bye Street in Ledbury will closed between 8am and 6pm on Monday (August 26) for the town's carnival.

There will also be a rolling road closure for the carnival procession between noon and 2pm.
