A 65-year-old man has denied possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
David Chatfield of Hinton Road, Hereford, appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday where he denied possessing the imitation firearm (a blank firing pistol) with intent to cause fear of violence.
He further denied having an imitation firearm in a public place (Hinton Road, Hereford).
Both offences are said by the prosecution to have taken place on September 24, 2017.
The case was set down for trial on September 20 next year. Chatfield was granted unconditional bail in the meantime.
