Iceland is recalling packs of 60 Crispy Chicken Dippers because some may contain pieces of hard plastic.
The presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat, the Food Standards Agency said today.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in all branches that are selling the product.
The notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
People should not eat the dippers. They should return them to their nearest Iceland branch for a full refund.
The dipper packs affected are those with best before date codes PRIOR to 09.01.2021.
New stock with the date code 09.01.2021 and later are NOT included in the recall.
Customers with queries should contact Iceland's customer care line on 0800 3280800 option 3.
