FAMILY and friends gathered to pay tribute on the first anniversary of the sudden death of a Hereford teenager.
They met at the city's College Estate Park yesterday (Saturday) to remember Stamford Griffin with flowers and balloons.
Stamford was just 17 when he collapsed on the railway bridge at Old School Lane in the early hours and died in hospital later that morning.
There was a barbecue and refreshments at the event.
Stamford's brother, Tyler, said: "I would like to say thank you to everyone who turned up.
"Stamford would have loved everything we did.
"A big thank-you to card factory in Hereford for doing the balloon order and Leominster Party’z and Special Occasions.
"Thank you from all of the Griffin family."
